The Eurasian community of Singapore are the mixed-race descendants of European colonists. These descendants trace their European heritage to the Portuguese, Dutch and British settlers during the colonial times. Meanwhile, their Asian heritage is from the local population of the Malay archipelago or the various Asian immigrants who have settled in the region.
