Evelyn Andrade won the first Miss Jamaica pageant in 1953. Hailing from Kingston, Evelyn was born to a Syrian Jewish father and a mixed-race black mother. Before winning the pageant, Evelyn was working as a telephone operator and is also a dancer. She soon competed in the regional pageant Miss Caribbean in 1954 and won the pageant. Evelyn soon competed as "Miss West Indies" in the Miss Universe 1954 pageant, held in Long Beach, California. Noted for her vivaciousness and grace, Evelyn became a favorite during the pageant and was featured in various publications.


Georgina Rizk (جورجينا رزق) won the title of Miss Lebanon 1970. Born and raised in Beirut, Georgina comes from a mixed background; her father is Lebanese while her mother is of Hungarian descent. Fluent in French, Arabic and English, Georgina has been working as a model at a young age and has appeared in a number of local films. She soon became Lebanon's delegate in the Miss World 1970 pageant held in London, United Kingdom.


Georgina then represented Lebanon in the Miss Universe 1971 pageant held in Miami Beach, Florida. A favorite during the pageant, Georgina was announced as among the Top 10 best in swimsuit. Georgina also became a controversial subject of journalists covering the pageant, as she was often in photographs with Ester Orgad, the delegate of Israel, which is considered an enemy state of Lebanon. On the pageant finals, Georgina notably wore an daring, avant-garde attire for her evening gown and eventually won the title of Miss Universe 1971.


After her reign, Georgina continued her career as a model and also appeared in a number of Lebanese films.


Rima Fakih (ريما فقيه) won the title of Miss Michigan USA 2010. Born in Srifa, Lebanon, Rima comes from a Shia Muslim family. During her childhood, she and her family migrated to the United States, living in New York City and eventually settling in Dearborn, Michigan. Rima is an economics graduate and at the time she won the state title, was working as a marketing representative for a local medical center. Fluent in Arabic and English, Rima soon represented Michigan in the Miss USA 2010 pageant. Admired for her exotic looks and spontaneity, Rima eventually won the title of Miss USA 2010, the third victory for the state of Michigan.


Celebrated as the first Arab and Muslim woman to win the Miss USA title, Rima's victory became controversial as many conservative Muslim groups oppose the participation of women in beauty pageants. The raven-haired, Lebanese American beauty soon competed as Miss USA in the Miss Universe 2010 pageant held in Las Vegas, Nevada.


After her reign as Miss USA, Rima has appeared in a number of American TV shows and reality TV competitions. In 2018, she relocated to Lebanon and became the national director of the Miss Lebanon pageant which send its winner to the Miss Universe pageant of that year.
